I got this marinade years ago on from a poster on a messageboard I used to belong to. It's been my go-to marinade ever since!

2 cloves garlic (I use minced garlic from a jar but I bet fresh would be even better)
1 tablespoon grill seasoning
1 teaspoon smoked paprika, ground chipotles, chili powder, or ground cumin
2 teaspoon hot sauce (like Tabasco)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/3 cup olive oil

Combine all ingredients, pour over meat, and turn every so often for at least a half hour.

Sounds very tasty and these all seem like ingredients most of us would have in our pantry. I enjoy a good marinade, perhaps I'll try this one some steaks I have at home waiting for something exciting to happen! Thanks for the post

I like the look of this recipe. Is it a Mexican style marinade? I have seen similar ingredients in other Mexican marinades. Worcestershire sauce is used in Mexico, they call it salsa inglesa (English sauce).

I honestly don't know. It would seem so by the ingredients in it but as far as I know the poster I got it from did not present it that way. It does give that kind of flavor, especially if you use cumin.
