Well, i did my first cook on the kettle today, my first ever attempt at charcoal bbq. it was ok but im sure it can get a lot better. just did a chicken with some premade roast chicken seasoning and vegies with fresh herbs, salt and pepper.

Well it certainly looks like it came out ok to me. :) If it taste as good as it looks then you did a great job on your first attempt.

How long did it take for the chicken to get done? It looks really good. I noticed you didn't say you used garlic. I season just about everything with garlic.

No garlic on the chicken a few sliced cloves mixed in the veg. Chicken was in for 1:45 but it was too long. Did 2 chickens in there on saturday and they only took an hour. 25 heat beads each side. I will put pics of that up later
