Does grilled pumpkin change the flavor if used in pumpkin pie? Would it be better or not? We have quite a few little pumpkins in our batch this year and had the idea to roast it and see if my wife wanted to use it to make pumpkin pie.
That actually sounds really, really good. I don't know how it would work or what you'd have to do, but I imagine the flavor would be amazing. If all else fails, you can always roast the seeds on the grill.
I have never tried this before but I could just imagine the smell of it. We really need to start getting into grilling more things like this too, not only is it fun but it can really let out your creative side.
