Dutch Oven Dutch Oven Lasagna



Meat Lasagna:

1 lb. ground round
1 lb. ground Italian sausage
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large jar of pasta sauce
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
8 oz. ricotta cheese
8 oz. cottage cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (the Parmesan/Romano mix is good too)
1 Tbsp. parsley
1 lb. mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 to 1 1/2 pkg.no-cooklasagna noodles (3 pkgs work well for two pots)

Precook and drain the meats.
Chop the onions and garlic and bag the spice mix in advance if possible to save time and mess.
Spread sauce in bottom of dutch oven.
Layer noodles, meat (or veggie mix), cheeses.
Top with sauce.
Bake at 350o for 1 hour.
8 to 10 coals top and bottom should produce the correct heat.

Veggie Lasagna
Replace the meats above with:

16 oz. winter blend frozen vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli, carrots)
10 oz. frozen chopped spinach
1 pkg. tofu (crumbled)
